About us

EPiC Stump Grinding was born out of my love for managing timber land.  Since my childhood I have been working on different timber tracts, operating heavy equipment, managing clearing of trees, removing and grinding stumps and even selling firewood.

EPiC Stump Grinding exists to serve homeowners, landscape companies, commercial property managers, and other contractors deal with the headaches of stumps.  Because we focus purely on stump grinding, we have built a turnkey, easy to do business with service for getting rid of those annoying stumps.

Give us a ring, a text, or fill out the form on our website.  Most of the time we can provide a quote and get the ball rolling on your stump(s) in a brief phone call.

We look forward to speaking with you!

What we do

After our initial phone call to discuss your job, I will either provide you with a quote right then over the phone, or we will schedule a time for me to come onsite and study the job firsthand.  Either way, I will follow-up immediately with a written quote.  The software I use will allow you to authorize the quote electronically from your phone.

If your job site necessitates that we have utilities marked by the county, I will initiate that on your behalf.  We will schedule your stump grinding for as soon as possible after the utility markings are in place.  If utility markings are not warranted, we will schedule your stump grinding for as soon as possible after you approve the quote.

One of the things I pride myself on is managing the grinding debris to your satisfaction.  The stump grinding process leaves wood chips (very close to the wood chips you would buy from a landscape or home improvement store).  These can be left in the hole where the stump used to be or spread in garden beds or other locations on your property as a beneficial mulch.

Most customers prefer to leave the wood chips in the stump hole where they can decompose.  Others prefer that some of the chips be removed and topsoil be spread over the job site where the stump used to be.  We are happy to quote whichever option you prefer.

When the job is complete to your satisfaction you can pay via credit card, cash, or check.  For commercial or large jobs, I can send you a bill.

Give me a call to discuss your specific job.  I look forward to hearing from you.
